Whether you are looking to re-score a game originally recorded on paper, score your own version of an opponent's game, or re-score one of your team's games on GameChanger Classic, this article will help you find the most efficient solution to getting the game scored on the app.
Re-scoring from Paper
If you have previously recorded a game on paper, uploading this game to GameChanger Classic can be done in two manners.
1. Manually Enter the Box Score on the website.
2. Re-scoring the game on the GC Classic app.
To rescore your game on the app, simply setup the game, enter in your roster and lineup (if you have not done so already), do the same for your opponent, then follow your paper scorebook to rescore each event.
Rescoring your Own Game
1. Print off the plays and scorebook from the original version of the game (we suggest printing off the Plays view that includes substitutions made throughout the game.
2. Reschedule the game and reconfigure the teams' lineups.
3. Using the printed plays as a reference, rescore the game.
4. Delete the original version of the game so that the results and player statistics are not double-counted.
Rescoring an Opponent's Game
If you are looking to score your own version of an opponent's game on GameChanger Classic, you will need to obtain access to the game's plays, and print them for reference as you rescore. If the opposing team has not been prepaid for by their admin(s), then you will need to activate a 24-hour free trial or purchase a subscription (if you have already used your trial) to access the Plays for this opposing team's games.
1. Print off the plays and scorebook from the original version of the game.
2. Reschedule the game on your own team's site, and reconfigure the team's lineups.
3. Using the printed plays as a reference, rescore the game.
