Score and finalize the game on GC. Games with limited data (less than 3 innings) will have to be manually imported to MaxPreps (keep scrolling down).
Go to the MaxPreps website. Hover your clicker over the profile icon and click on your team form the dropdown.
On the next page click on the "results" tab, and then select "scores/stats"
You can see your full schedule on MaxPreps and the results/scores of the games that have already been synced. To sync the game that was just scored find the game on the list and next to the game, click on the green "+."
NOTE: The green "+" will only appear a few after hours after the game is played, meaning if the game gets moved up a day you would have to edit the date of the game on MaxPreps (if you want to upload the stats ASAP). You can do this by clicking on the calendar button next to the game in question.
From the dropdown menu select the game you want to sync, then click the green "Continue, and review this file."
On the next page, you will confirm all the stats are correct. If they are correct, select "Import Scores & Stats."
If the game has less than 3 innings and less than 100 events you will have to manually import your stats from GC to MaxPreps.
Steps 1 - 3 are the same as above.
Go to the GC box score, for the game in question. At the top of the box score, next to the admin tools, click "MaxPreps Export." This will download a .txt file.
On MaxPreps you have clicked the green "+", but your game will not appear in the dropdown list. Instead enter the number of runs each team got and then select the blue "Save & Import Stats" button.
Select "Choose File," and pick the .txt file you downloaded earlier. Select "import."
Double check all the stats are correct and then select "Calculate Team Totals." On the next page you will be prompted to select "Publish & Continue."
After every game, one player on the team can be selected as the Player of the Game. This will sometimes pop up after you "Publish & Continue." Coaches can put in the players of the game then, later or not at all.
NOTE: If you have already synced your game to MaxPreps and than make edits to the game on GC and try to re-sync, it will NOT update on MaxPreps.
